Does anyone know if you already own a game in disc form and then download the game, do you get an additional set of save files or will the download just import the disc data into the download version?

Also, if you buy 2 discs of the same game, do you get an additional set of save files from the 2nd disc or will the 2nd disc just import the disc data from the 1st disc?

Finally, does anyone know how many save slots the following games have?:

1. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse

2. Mario & Sonic @ The Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games

3. Mario Kart 8

4. Mario Party 10

5. Nintendo Land

6. Pac-Man & The Ghostly Adventures 1

I know buying a second disc wouldn’t give more save files, because the console would consider the two discs to be identical. (Note that no data is burned from the Wii U onto the disc)

If I downloaded a digital version, would the console consider the physical disc and digital version to be identical as well?

That I’m not sure about, as I’ve never tried it. I think you might be able to get answers if you join one of the Wii U Facebook groups and ask there.
