I’m a newbie and an Xbox player. I need help to download things and to record. Please help!

If you’re playing on a console, before you can start recording, you’ll need a capture card to capture the footage from the console and get it displaying on a computer. When it comes to actually recording, OBS is a pretty standard piece of software to record the video and/or stream it.

OBS is free, yes. A capture card is not, that will need to be purchased.
