Hello everyone, I've been following speedruning since the very first AGDQ, I've always wanted to dabble in speedrunning. I'll mostly find a game, check all the top runs and follow streamers, and think about how cool it wold be to run the game but now it's the time for me to finally get my feet wet and get some pbs. https://1921681254.mx/ Many of the runs I enjoy the most come from the fourth and fifth generation of consoles and I figured maybe learning an easier game might be a good way to finally get in the groove and start getting some runs done. Quick question, why did you choose older games as your first things to speedrun? 馃
That said, maybe it's easier to speedrun PS1 horror games, or even boardgames, but if you're the only one who speedrunned the game first, I think you have to be the one to set the rules.
This is pretty niche, but I found the Super Mario Bros. Game & Watch an easy speedrun to learn.
