my pc is very old. i realy like the idea of speedrunning my game but my pc even at lowest settings cannot run above 20 fps in minecraft. i have tried other games, i have tried optimizing but nothing helps. im too poor to even get an upgrade. my pc is 20 years old. no modern screen recorder works bc of my os and gpu (which supports dx9 i think)

what do i do without spending money? pls help. if there is nothing i can do please let me know any help or critisizm will be helpful

If minecraft is too demanding on your pc, just don't run the game and find other games that are much lighter to run instead. Unless you have the money to upgrade your pc, there's not much you can do about it.

If you can't find a screen recorder that works with your computer, you could try pointing a camera at the screen if you have one. This has the benefit of not putting more strain on your pc, but you'll have to be able to get good enough quality in the vid that everything can be clearly seen. If you choose to try this option, it'd be best to do test vids and run them by the mods for the games you're interested in before devoting too much time to it.

Without spending any money? Well, nothing really. If you have a camera or a phone, you can point that at your screen and capture it that way. But without spending any money, you just cant improve your hardware. Also, it is really hard to give you any pc support without knowing your parts and your os.

See if any YouTube videos by LowSpecGamer can help. He goes beyond normal game settings and changes files to make run games at even lower settings. He has a few Minecraft videos as far as I know. Maybe those can help.

Also, I noticed there's Minecraft for Android. Maybe it runs better on your phone?
