Have you tried twitchleecher?

I will have to agree with @Tron_Javolta. Twitchleecher is really good for downloading twitch vods/highlights/clips

Might as well hop in and say I third Twitchleecher as the way to go. Ive used it a lot and it works great, downloads in source quality no problem.
