Hello,

I've been interested in speedrunning since I saw a 16 star Mario 64 in 2010. I've just been a combination of too intimidated and lazy to try it myself. After watching several GDQ in the past, this year my wife encouraged me to give it a try at least.

Thus far everyone I've met in the speedrunning community has been absolutely great and I look forward to talking with many more of you in the future.
