Hello there!

My name is Jack and I am an 18-year-old IT student. I am new to the community and I am new to speedrunning in general. I got interested in the idea of speedrunning through the youtube channel of Karl Jobst. I have some facts about me so you have a basic idea of who I am.

Facts about me:

• My all-time favourite game is Banjo-Kazooie
• I have multiple collections of model cars, comics and pokemon cards.
• Another hobby I have is playing the drums.

I won't start speedrunning straight away as I don't have everything sorted out but I did want to make the account so I can start doing runs when I am properly ready.

Any advice for speedrunning is greatly Appreciated!

Hey Jack!

Honestly, even if you don't have your recording etc setup, there's nothing stopping you from starting to speedrun today :) practice offline, or even set up a phone to record your TV while you play. No time like the present - speedrunning is all about having fun, more than having a "proper" setup!
