Hey everyone. I go by Cardy, am 23 years old, and I'm from Fayetteville, North Carolina. I've been very fond of speedrunning since middle school, though mostly through watching ADGQ videos and numerous twitch streamers. The Legend of Zelda series is one of my favorites to watch, for example, and runners like Linkus, ZFG, PopeSquidward, MajinPhil, and D3 are examples of my favorites to watch live.

Ultimately, watching them has encouraged me to try speedrunning for myself and I recently fell in love with Ori and the Blind Forest. I'd say it's my favorite game of all time at this point and it feels perfect to be a first speed game. So, I'll be starting with that.

However, I don't feel very well equiped for doing runs just yet. My internet sucks, so showing off practice and runs won't be so easy for the time being. Regardless, I'm going to watch plenty of runs of the game and practice the necessary tricks for the "selected restrictions" category.
