01/23/2023 - am now focusing my attention to routing a 2.0-6.55 (then updating to 7.0) run so this will remain incomplete for a good while. ;-; the only major thing that has changed from the wr run (as of typing this) is how the last duty in coerthas is handled, gauntlet skip (you can chek my youtube for both strats there) and how post arr is structured with primal and crystal tower sidequests. if you want notes on that let me know in discord but the general gist of it is getting the primal stuff done alongside msq and crystal tower quests and having it all done shortly after Recruiting the realm > progressing crystal tower quests during the msq queues > then focusing on unlocking and queueing the rest of the alliance raids after The Crystalis
Fast Teleports
Throughout the run, we'll be saving teleport locations to the history tab and swaping to the correct tab in the teleport menu well in advance so that our next destination will be on the first slot on the first page we open on the telport menu. This will let us start casting immediately instead of fiddling around in the menu every time. The route isn't optimised completely yet so this will change as things are written up and a timeline for teleports has been set so keep in mind. o_o
Leveling
We'll want to reach level 50 before The Stone Vigil to be able to equip our Ironworks Gear so that we enter with nearly the best stats we can get for that dungeon. Completing Rising to the Challenge will unlock the challenge log and completing the challenge "Dungeon Master" will give us just enough exp for this. Other than that, we don't need to worry about exp at all since RT80 will keep us overleveled at all times.
Emotes
The MSQ will have us emote at NPC's or locations so it's good to have all of them on your hotbar before the run starts so you won't have to worry about typing them out every time. However, the emote /Imperial Salute will disappear on your hotbar on a fresh character since it needs to be unlocked but you can get around this by putting it in a shared macro then have that placed on your hotbar instead. Another cool thing is that a bit of time can be saved if you move while emoting as the movement will prevent the emote animation from playing.

Much like emotes, there will be points in the MSQ that will require us to use items on NPCs/Locations and being able to use them directly from our hotbar is slightly faster and is by no means required. The big problem, however, is that theres no way to put them on the hotbar without being on the quest and having said item in your inventory. Gil Route
We'll be shopping 8 times during the run and spending 41,993 gil in total. We only need to complete the side-quest "Derision of Labor" to sell the 3 Silver Pieces + Wind-up Airship to afford Shop 2 and set the one free destination we have to New Gridania then Limsa Lominsa to afford the rest. The only other thing you'll need to do is select Silver/Bronze Pieces as quest rewards for armour that aren't upgrades to whichever slots have dungeon gear in them during the Waking Sands/Camp Drybone bit. As long as you do these things, you'll be able afford all shops every time and have about 530ish gil (with the worst of luck) as wiggle room for mis-teleports. If you want more gil safety you can set: Central Shroud, New Gridania, Ul'dah, and Eastern Thanalan as favoured destinations as well.

Cast Aero on the second Bog Yarzon and either walk past or cast Repose on the Third. Walk up to the Survey Records and pick them up. Walk past the next two then cast aero on the Bog Yarzon thats sitting next to the last Surveyor's Instruments then imediately walk up to and grab the Surveyor's Rope. After that, run and grab the last Surveyor's Rope and make your way to Bentbranch.
There's a fate with a Water Sprite as it's boss that can spawn next to the last set of Surveyor's Instruments. It agros by sound like the rest of the enemies here so you can just walk past it if needed. I could be wrong but I think it's immune to Sleep? Will need to try later.

There are a bunch of Imps in this next section that agro by sight so avoid walking in the invisible cone in front of them (if possible) while grabbing each of the 5 NPCs. This bit can be a bit messy but once you sneak or kill the first imp this should work:
If one Imp is agro'd > speak with each NPC the moment you take damage from Blizzard or cast Repose on them if they're if you've missed that window.
If two Imps are agro'd > Cast Repose on both.
If 3 or more Imps have been agro'd, start killing, starting with any imps you slept, until you have two left before sleeping them both.
There's also a Fate at the entrance to this place that can be spawn more imps and make things even more painful but it's the same deal with them.

Phase 1
Aero everything then kill everything starting with Ixali Slowbeak B. Once all adds are close to dead, walk a lil bit south, kinda halfway and a bit to the left between the boss and the big tree. Aero the Ixali Slowbeak J as it spawns and make your way northwest to the rocks on the boss's left. You want to wait about a second or so before casting Aero on Icali Sincaller I & H so that they're less likely to take enough damage to start healing and are agro'd fast enough to get into AOE range of Galfrid. Once you're in position, refresh Aero on the boss then apply Aero to everyone and Kill Ixali Slowbeak J before focusing on the boss. Once the boss casts Void Call, position yourself a bit front and left of the boss then cast Aero on the Blanga that spawned and focus it down then kill the boss.
Phase 2
Hold target left/right while spamming Aero and moving down during the fade in and stop once you can start casting. Focus target Lesser Gargoyle and spam stone while slowly slidecasting towards the Masked Mage and stop once you're 25y of them (you can tell your far enough when you see your Aero and Stone II turn from red to white while targeting the Masked Mage). Use an Antidote if you've been poisoned and keep an eye on the Aero timer on Lesser Gargoyle. Once the Aero time reaches 6s, cast Aero on Masked mage > Sprint + Swiftcast + Stone II on Lesser Gargoyle > use a Hi-Potion (if you saved the one from earlier) > Aero on Lesser Gargoyle and Focus Target yourself while making your way to the north east corner of the map. Once there, Spam Stone II on the Lesser Gargoyle until dead then swap to Masked Mage and position yourself behind the Masked Mage at max melee, refresh Aero when needed, spam stone etc until dead.

There will be 5 Amalj'aa that will surround the boss. Cast Aero on 3 the three that started behind you and kill the other two with Stone II then cast Aero on Amalj'aa Ranger I & J then spam Stone II on everything, leaving the Aero'd archers for last. Once they're all dead, apply Aero and cast 7 Stone II's onto the boss and get within 25y of the entance of the arena. Stone II all the adds and ignore the Amal'jaa Halberdier for the rest of the fight. Swiftcast + Stone II > Hi-Potion if you need healing. Another wave of adds will spawn so repeat what you did with the last wave of adds then wait for duty completion.

Once all the adds are dead, move next to the crashed airship and cast Aero on the Magitek Vanguard when it spawns and Stone II the Archers to death. Focus down the boss then focus the Vanguard. Keep casting Stone and stay out of melee range once you start getting agro.

Start the fight by applying Aero to everything, leaving the Sylpheed Snarl D for last then make your way to the south east corner of the map with a bit of slide casting. Once the Malboro spawns, Stone II > Swiftcast + Repose the Sylpheed Sigh then Aero Sylpheed Screech then focus the Budnapper when they're in range. If Yda runs past the Malboro then you can just focus the Budnapper and have her AOEs to kill the rest. Theres a 1/4 chance Yda will target the Malboro normally and eat the badbreath so if you're unlucky, just spam Stone II on everything starting with the sleeping Sigh.

Cast Aero on everybody then Stone II the 3rd Cohort Beastiarius B while positioning them in front, facing away from both friendly NPCs. Once the Redbelly Stinger AOE's hits both of them, position yourself to the back left of Legless Laurentius next to the tree and wait for adds to spawn. Auto the Bestiarius and cast Stone II both him and the Imaginifer then Aero everyone. Make sure both Bestiarius and Imaginifer are within range of Redbelly Stinger's AOE and use a Hi-Potion between Aero casts. If the Imaginifer survives the AEO, swap auto when the Besteraius dies. Focus Legless Laurentius and refresh Aero on the Decurion when it falls off. Once Laurentius is dead, Stone II the Decurion and Funditor to death.
