Hey all, just wondering something as of now.

Is it possible to speedrun official maps on FE2 MapTest, or do you have to own a private server?

you can speed run map test maps as your automaticly entered into a solo server

i don't think you could, as some maps are more different to speedrun than the official game. I think one example is dark sci facility, where the shaking is different and the lava speed is a bit slower (I think) Stormy had responded to a person who asked the same question. He said no. So yea, you sorta need a private server

Map test maps can sometimes be inaccurate from official FE2 maps, and map test can give an unfair advantage to players. You can grind a ton of attempts on a single level non-stop, while in the official game, you have to wait until your desired map to speedrun comes up, taking a few minutes just to get it selected randomly.

At this time, no map test runs are accepted.
