Mission 1.1 Speedrun Guide

Hey,

These guides are "suppose" to help new players and anyone looking to get low times on each mission, achieve those times :) I will make descriptions on what to do and what not to do with the help of the videos of TargetBoy, Wreckless_Lee and myself. This guide will cover the very first mission of the game.

When you start the mission, you will be stuck inside some sort of pod thingy and in order to escape you will need to pull a lever on your right. You can do this when the level is fading in so you can quickly get out. Once you are out, you have a few options to get on top of the platform to continue the mission. 
1. Fling off the showcase on the left
2. Fling off one of the tables
3. Fling up the normal route on the wall
So far, the best time is to fling up the wall, however I'm sure there are quicker ways (like the showcase fling), but these are much harder to pull off.
Once on top of the platform, you can fling off the metal pillar on the left to quickly get to the other side. (Honestly, most of this game is quicker if you just fling yourself off walls so always be on the lookout for opportune flings)
Making your way over to the repair tool, you will want to find a way over the barrier, straight on over to the repair tool. My best way to do this is to use the metal pillar on the right to fling upward and land on the repair tool table. This is quick hard to do however, so practice this maneuverer and you should be able to pull it off reliably. After this, quickly click continue and grab the repair tool and let go to be able to move again.
Walking over to the door, you will take damage. This is important as you will want to have less than 100% health for something later in the level. The turret can also be used to damage yourself but it is better to fling yourself over it to save time.
Climbing up to the tranquiliser gun, you will need to fire off three shots and then holster your newly acquired weapon to be able to move again and shoot off the red lock on the vent. This is pretty simple but can easily ruin a run so watch out.
I find that artificially crouching at his vent is much easier than manually as you may not crouch enough to get in.
After loading the next part of the level, you need to exit the vent and follow a basic route around to the debris after which you can continue to run to a gap at the right in the debris.
After loading for the second time, fling yourself upwards to then run across to the switch at the other end of the room. I'm experimenting with routes at this time but right now I would just recommend running straight forward at it. After flicking the switch, the "garage" door will open revealing 3 enemies. This is where being at lees than 100% health will help. Use your repair tool to heal yourself now which will lower your amount of energy. When your energy is below 100%, espire instinct (slow-mo) will NOT become active, allowing you to quickly run past all of the enemies and into the vent. After this it's pretty simple to open a few vents and push a button to the next loading area.
In this vent however, it's best that you fling yourself forward constantly to save time crouching in the vent. You can do this even when you are loading.
Exiting the vent, you can fling yourself off the left of the nearby shelving to bypass the ladder. This will also give you quite a good speed boost if done correctly.
Going through the door, you can climb on the shaded wall on the right to boost up to the pipes which can be used to then fling yourself up on top and through the blast doors.
Then you must activate the other espire units in order to continue through the next door. So far the best way to do this is to just run there but I believe there is a quicker way by flinging off the banister, however this has proved to be very difficult.
The next room can either be a great time save or can ruin a run. My best way is to run alongside the right, staying close to the left wall, and to fling yourself occasionally to boost your speed. Make sure to not attract the attention of any of the enemies as this will trigger espire instinct.
The next room is pretty easy because there is quite a lot of room. Again, so far the best way is to stick to the right, flinging yourself up and forward, to then fling over to the blast door. I not sure why I am spectacle of this route that I found but like I said, it's the best route so far.
The next room is also a scary room because it loves to trigger espire instinct. Straight away run tot he left and tranquilise the enemy on the right. Run around the corner and attempt to tranquilise as many enemies as you can while still trying to get to the blast door. As far as I know, there isn't a reliable way to deal with this room yet so I'll keep looking into it.
The next room is a little bit tricky because you can mess it up quite easily. Firstly, you need to fling yourself up to the far left switch from the blast door. After flicking it, work your way around the tower to get all 4 switches, after which you can simply flick the master switch and move on.
After this, it's as simple as jumping down and running to the end. Not much to worry about here.

And that concludes my 1.1 mission guide :) I am planning to make one for each mission but I still need to become more familiar with each mission before I make any of the others.
