Pretty sure they did say that it has to be from Steam. They are being a lot more strict with this one in terms of rules. They did say other platforms may have the game but I'm not sure if they okay'd that. Because different versions do have little differences in them. So even if they did allow pirating you'd have to make sure it's the CORRECT version of the game or it would be invalid. And finding an exact version would be the hard part when it comes to piracy.
Yeah, unless I get the deal from cdkeys I cant run this game, the playing field has been shrunk massively now that you not only have to pay but you have to stream your runs aswell.
Amok Runner is $20.49 CAD on Steam and that was the first challenge.. it's actually cheaper and more fair this time around tbh. or was there some sort of free version that people were using? At least Charlie chose a game that 100's of thousands of people already owned in their library instead of a new shovelware game that had a sizeable price tag.
