I've merged PS4/PS5 on the boards and they're now just labels instead being separated, unless there's a significant advantage on newer hardware, it's better to have all the runs grouped together as it looks much cleaner and everyone is competing with each other. This game wasn't given any enhancements on either the PS4 Pro or the PS5 and I looked at load times across different consoles and the difference was negligible.

If a significant advantage is found then this change can easily be reverted. Both PS4 & PS4 Pro are limited to the same storage options. If there was going to be any advantage then I'd have expected it to be with the PS5. Sony allows users to install compatible storage options of their choice which does include SSD's for PS4 consoles so no system will be exactly the same.

My times were set on the PS4, having checked our respective times (at event ending) i noticed that only on the first event you set a time faster than mine.

This confused me because I had near perfect menuing and was faster in 7/8 events (5/6 if you count the cup as a single event)

Looking into it I've found the PS5 does load faster, events where you're the only car around 2 seconds events with other cars upto 5 maybe 6 at times. Every event.

That said I'm currently running on a PS5 so in the coming weeks hope to either get back on top or at least give you a better run for your money (Going to be hard because your name rings a bell from the official leader boards back when the servers were active) I was pleasantly suprised to see some competition after a long time of it being 2 guys.

My time shouldn't be that hard to beat, didn't practice the events much, was kinda a one and done. When I tested load times on my ps4 it wasn't as bad as your figures though

Definitely bigger difference on events with multiple cars though when looking at your run, I'll revert it back to splitting PS4 & PS5

Yeah, it's quiet odd the difference in loading, more than I was expecting.

Think I worked out your first event was 2.2 seconds up but by the end of the rookie cup I was 6ish up on you, that's what made me wonder.
