Conveyor Puzzle [Spoilers]

So, this is the worst part of any run... ever.
I hate this puzzle, and you will too while you're running this game.
So... here's a walkthrough to save you the pain:

How to Get Rollercoaster Vinyl

So what you used to be able to do is just ride the Rollercoaster and boom, there's a vinyl, however, there was a patch before the game had it's unpredicted halt that accidentally got rid of the vinyl's normal obtain, SO... here's what you gotta do now, and buckle up because this bullshit is insane.

Well, not "insane" but the couple hoops you do have to go through make running "All Vinyls" or "100%" difficult.

So, what you got to do is find your Dream directory
(Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dream) or alternatively
(SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dream)

Look in the "Saves" folder and open that, you should see a bunch of files labelled "DREAMVG", this is the file type the game reads, the sizes of the files should be either "17 bytes" or "56 bytes" and the game reads these as "true" or "false" files (17 is false, 56 is true)

Find a file in there called "foundRecord2.dreamvg", this is the coaster's vinyl, delete it.
Then find a 56byte file and make a copy of it before renaming it to "foundRecord2.dreamvg"
Once you done this, you should be able to just walk up to the Coasters vinyl stand in the portal room and have it register that you have it, HOWEVER, if you did this wrong, then just run around opening/closing doors, finish nightmares, do what you need to in order to find out how to get the vinyl to register.

No, I'm not kidding.
You looked at this guide with the intent to obtain the vinyls in this game.

How to Get the Different Endings

So, you may be asking "Doodle, how do you get each ending? What the crap is a "Bedlamite" how do you go for a "Worker" ending?" Well, what I've learned is that Dream is on a "points" system, in which everything you do can get you a point or two. This guide is going to help you figure out what you'll need for each run and how to get to it.

Point Requirements:
Bedlamite (Worst Ending): 0-75 by the final portal
Worker (Good Ending): 76-119 by the final portal
Writer (Best Ending): 120-150 by the final portal

What determines points?
Everything. Items, Page Scraps, Vinyls, Side Dreams, Nightmares, hell, even finding random points of interests will get you points, the game is an exploration puzzle game, so of course it will reward you if you... you know, explore.

Points of Interest will get you 2 points a piece
Items will get you 2 points a piece
Finding Howards Bedroom *in dreams* will get you 2 a piece
Page Scraps will get you 1 point a piece
Vinyls will get you 2 a piece
Entering Side Dreams will get you 5 points for each you enter
Finishing Nightmares will get you 5 (though I'm still unsure what constitutes "finishing" a nightmare)
The Catacombs in the Desert get you 5 points doing them all.
Each Office Experiment Puzzle gives you 2 a piece
and each puzzle in the Resort gives you 3 points a puzzle.

Item Guide

Alarm Clock = Start with
Coin = Middle of the Portal Room
Map = Desert: Go forward until you get to the lookout point
Flashlight = Desert: Go left from the main portal until you reach some water, it's in the water.
Stone = Garden: a little to the right of the portal, by one of the towers.
Compass = Office: Second Floor, first room on the left in right wing
Crystal = Office: Basement
Telescope = Labyrinth: Last Room on boxes
ViewMaster = Resort: Bar Taps: the left lounges.
Teleporter = Resort: In Safe after phones.
Cube = Fern Meadow: After Easter egg hunt, by the Moai heads.

Misc. Number Puzzles [Spoilers]

GRAVEYARD PUZZLE
(Treat the puzzle like a grid)
So, I'm not... entirely sure how the puzzle works. It seems whenever you turn on one gravestone another turns off.

Something, something, the answer is: 5, 7, 11, then 4

NIGHTMARE 1
Nightmare Box:
You just dick around with the switches till you get the answer, but in short the 1st and 3rd switches will activate.

Nightmare Briefcase:
Typically you find the answer by going into the office, pulling a book in Edward's office and activating the black lights that lead you to the answer: Again, to spoil the fun though, the answer to this is 836.

BAR TAPS
Okay, so typically what you do is go into each of the cabins in the surrounding area and find arrows pointing either up or down, down arrows indicate that the tap needs to be pulled.

To save you looking and writing, just pull 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, and 11

Poem Puzzle Solution

Here's a pretty "fun" puzzle for those who want the writers run or just want to run the "Hollow" IL.

The poem's solution.

Okay so, you know the puzzle right, and how Howard will read it as he goes through the halls?
You CAN reach the solution to this, and from what I heard, you need to in order to get the best ending of the game (Writer)

So, here's what you gotta do.
When you reach the infinite hallway only go far enough in to let Howard read the last two lines of the poem, BUT NO FURTHER THAN THAT!!!

If you go further in, you WILL have to restart the Hollow dream.

Back out of the hall, and pull out your teleporter.
Don't have a teleporter? Then go do the rest of the game so you can get it, this is a late game puzzle.

For those who have the teleporter, press F until you find yourself falling in a black void.
Land on one of the ledges that come up from under you, and walk out into the infinite hall.
Then, run to the last words of the poem, turn around to read them.

idk myself if there's supposed to be an audio cue so you know if you read it or not, but if there is, feel free to tell me, because I never gotten one in any of the times I've done it.

But point is, this puzzle requires Teleporter RNG, good luck.
