DL1 any% BLINDFOLDED Guide

I will start with the detailed walkthrough and then provide a template at the end

To start, this run is done ENTIRELY on your keyboard, the only time you need your mouse is to preposition for the start or if you're unlucky and don't have a proper 'menu' key to act as your right click (I will assume you have a menu key, but if you don't all 'menu's can just be seen as right clicks they do the same thing)

Complicated Version:

Hit 'clear' in the menu to bring up the 'clear' text. Preposition your cursor on the 'o' in "your" located on the last line of the 'clear' text [YOU CAN DO THIS WITHOUT THE BLINDFOLD. TIME HAS NOT STARTED YET] This is where the out of bounds seed will go to and that should be right on the duck (those with menu keys, congrats you don't have to touch your mouse any more)

Tab over to the 'menu' button

[Start time] (i use the 'r' key as my start bind since it is easiest to locate b/c it is in easy proximity to the 'f' key) SPACE

Time to use out of bounds seed to get your duck to 10 flying + energy. Do TAB LEFT LEFT LEFT to get to the out of bounds seed Press SPACE to feed the seed. Once you pressed space once, you can do LEFT LEFT LEFT to get back to the seed without using TAB (this window is generous and should not be difficult at all to do) Feed your duck 17 seed. Make sure you aren't going too fast or you will seed glitch which is a problem since 17 is an exact amount and seed glitching once will kill the run. The problem is obviously that you can't see when you seed glitch so make sure you're careful. You can go to 18 seed for safety it will lose a few seconds however that are extremely difficult to make back.

After your 17th seed, you will be hovering over your flying level. Once you think the duck is done eating, RIGHT DOWN SPACE to get into running training.

Time to train running. Press SPACE to start. If you notice, the running music always starts with a distinct bummm bummm bummm low beat. ALWAYS jump on this second beat; this will get you over the first ball and that's all you need. Your duck will eventually die on the second ball [there is rng involved with this that will be covered shortly]. You will know you lost once the music changes. Now for the fun part: depending on your rng with the first ball, you will need to RCB/RCF [MENU B MENU F] anywhere from 28-32 times. I feel 32 is the most common so default to 32 unless you feel you got good rng and the second ball took longer to kill you. COUNT YOUR RCB/RCFs off of the Bs so once you hit 28-32, you don't keep going Now that you believe you are done running training, TAB RIGHT ENTER to get out of running DO NOT PRESS SPACE YOU MUST PRESS ENTER OR YOU WILL START ANOTHER RUNNING TRAINING

You should find yourself back in the main menu and you SHOULD have 150 running. (but there's no way for you to know for sure until you try the champ Kappa)

Time for swimming now. Since you're in the main menu, TAB RIGHT SPACE to get into the race menu. Again, a music change should let you know you are in the race menu. RCB/RCF this time is from 18-22. Again, I suggest defaulting to 22 unless you really think your running rng was good or you need serious timesave. Again, count on the Bs and end on an F to leave you in the race menu.

You're in the home stretch now! TAB DOWN DOWN to get to the advanced races and then TAB DOWN DOWN DOWN to get to 3-4 Again, the race music should start now once you enter 3-4 (or I at least hope you're in 3-4 Kappa) so now it's time to RCF to skip the race then RCF to champ. Then, TAB SPACE to start the champ race. Simply - (TAB DOWN DOWN) (TAB DOWN DOWN DOWN) (RCF x2) (TAB SPACE) and then pray that you have 150 run and swim. If you don't you just lose so have fun.

The race music will hopefully abruptly end which means you most likely beat the champ. Once you hear this cue, press your split button and congrats! You're a masochist!

Simple version:

Preposition on 'o', START

17 oob seed (Fly+Energy 10), RIGHT DOWN SPACE

Jump first ball, die on second. RCB/RCF 32 times. (no fewer than 28 if you're feeling daring), TAB RIGHT ENTER

TAB RIGHT SPACE, RCB/RCF 22 times. (no fewer than 18 if you're feeling daring)

(TAB DOWN DOWN) (TAB DOWN DOWN DOWN) (RCF x2) (TAB SPACE) - hope you win :3
