Hi, I've seen that in DC2 both categories have different leaderboards for each platform.

Almost a third of the Any% runs were made on PS1/2, and almost half of the runs at Best Ending and No Damage categories.

Is there any reason in DC so that split has not been done?

@MisterDodi can you please reply to the above message? My understanding is that in the past subcategories existed, but mods decided to merge them together because time stops in door transition. However, that's not the only way Console loses time versus PC. Especially now with the Rebirth patch PC can't be compared apple with apple against Console. Even without the patch, slow menuing, lower frame rate, keyboard vs. pad and input lags on Console probably accounts for minutes handicap in IGT compared to PC. Can the split be reconsidered?

If not granular as other games, I would at least separate PC and Console in 2 subcategories.

DC1 was and almost is a dead game in terms of ppl activily running the game. for every person and potentially new people running the game, the PC version is the most easy way to get into the game for running, as console needs a retail copy of the game, capture cards and so on. additionally, most runs are being done on pc especially now with the rebirth patch. so splitting up the game even more is not an option for now at all and will not be considered.

First of all DC1 is not a dead community. You receive only runs from PC for a reason, it's because there is no reason for anyone with a PS1, PS2, PS3, Dreamcast, PSP, PSvita, PSTV and Emulators to waste time in learning this game if there is no chance on earth to compete against PC especially with Patch.

Second and foremost, can this be voted democratically by the community?
