Hey guys, I will be making four runs to submit to SGDQ 2018:
- Monsters University
- Incredibles
- Cars If I get in with Disney Infinity and one of you guys decides that you want to be a couch member if you are able to and willing to go to Minnesota (Bloomington at the Doubletree Hilton Inn), then that would be wonderful if you would tell me that.
1). That's cool but MU is very unoptimised rn. When I speedran this game a while back, I was getting 25 min runs p. free and I am p. confident that'll go for the other WR's you have. 2). You haven't been accepted yet so ask if someone will couch for you once you are accepted and if you get rejected, you wouldn't have to ask. 3). ugh lol
The games list will be posted on April 4th.
Also, I would like to see a run of MU and see what you do to get under 25 minutes then; like I said, the runs are definitely not the best they can be, but for now they're good. I just need to really get down to it and optimize them. Before I was getting like 35 minutes on MU, then 34, then 30, then 29. Which console do you play on?
I made plenty of mistakes in all of the runs, so yeah, I think that none of them are really very optimized, but oh well. I just haven't had the time to practice with the game. I feel like if I did, that sub-25 and maybe even sub-20 would be done already. Go ahead and beat my times if you want to, I'd be glad to have some competition on these games now that we have people running them.
If you DO make it to SGDQ with the FInal List, Will you be giving the Community a shoutout at least? (I think that the DI Community is underrated)

All the licensed game communities (perhaps besides BFBB) are pretty much underappreciated and underrated at the same time in my opinion (nothing agains BFBB, but it's just the most popular licensed game to speedrun due to SHiFT and everything.
Hey Ergkjr, when are you going to try to beat my record times? I ask since I would like to see you beat my times to see what I can improve on if I get accepted into SGDQ 2018 with Disney Infinity.
And might I also become a mod? I hope to become very active here on this leaderboard, so I would honestly like to help run the leaderboard.
Sorry, I like super forgot about this thread, my b. So I played on XBOX360 and the thing with Disney Infinity is that there is barely any timeloss over the game versions since the only load time there is, is the 1st one. I also gave up with this game years ago and I would love to get back into the game but really, I have my priorities in speedrunning for now with the 1545 coming up and me still sucking at Crash 3 ( https://fifteenfortyfive.org/ ) but I would totally be down to talk over discord about strats I came up with and talk over your run.
And in terms of mod, I think the people we have for now are all good. Not a huge community so we don't need a huge mod-list. But if we do ever grow, for example, you get into GDQ, then I would gladly.

Unfortunately, I did not make SGDQ 2018. However, my GDQ quest will not stop here! I will try out for AGDQ 2018 in October (as well as make sure to register myself to go to give me a better chance at it) and I will find a couple more games for me to submit (I feel like I could definitely have selected other games that would give me a better chance).
