Defend with all on the first turn, then alternate between using hypnosis, and pirouetting with Kris and defending with Susie and Ralsei until the 13th turn, which should be just after the attack with the red scythes. On the 13th turn, pirouette with Kris, defend with Susie and pacify with Ralsei.

Hypnosis is the option below check and pirouette is the option to the right of check in Kris's act menu. Pacify is immediately selectable after selecting the spell menu on Ralsei.

Getting version 1.09 from Steam

Here's a guide for getting Deltarune demo version 1.09 from Steam. This works for both Windows and Mac. Before starting, make sure you have Steam installed and have added the Deltarune demo to your library and played it through Steam at least once.

1. Launch Steam with the console by navigating to steam://nav/console in a web browser.
2. In the Steam console, enter the following command:

For 1.09 Windows, enter:
download_depot 1690940 1690941 3831195597201285088

For 1.09 Mac, enter:
download_depot 1690940 1690942 5906787896048903565

If you're looking for a different version, replace the last number with the Manifest ID found here: https://pastebin.com/7jVA8eAF

3. Wait for the game to download. If it says Downloading depot 1690941 (or 1690942 for Mac), that means you did it right. Be patient.
4. When the game finishes downloading, it will be in the folder listed below by OS. The contents of this folder are deleted when you download to it again, so make sure you move what you want out of this folder.

For Windows:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_1690940\depot_1690941

For Mac: (Replace "username" with your username)

5. Make sure to delete the file steam_api.dll (on Windows) after you move these files out, because otherwise this file might try and connect you to whatever version Steam thinks you have rather than the version you downloaded. Mac versions do not connect to Steam by default so there is no file to delete for Mac versions.

How to Install (with a data.win file) and Use Debug Mode

This is a guide for how to install (with a data.win file) and use debug mode. Download the data.win file that can be found in the resources tab and rename it to data.win (it should already be the correct name but just make sure) 

Before deleting the regular data.win file, make sure you save the normal one first in a separate folder so you can go back to the normal data.win file as debug mode is banned when doing runs. If you forgot to save the normal data.win file, you can download the normal data.win file using this link

The data.win file is found in the folder that the game is located in so on windows, you can search for it or you can right click on a shortcut of the game and select Open File Location which will put you in the same folder as the data.win. On mac, you can search for data.win or Survery_Program and click Show Enclosing Folder.

Debug mode gives you access to lots of different helpful practice tools which are the following:

General:
P: 60fps (2x speed)
O: 3fps (10% Speed)
S: Open save dialog (Can be done anywhere)
L: Load save (Loads your most recent save on that save file
R: Restart game
Insert: Go to next room
Delete: Go to previous room

Dark world:
D+3: Go to room_dark1 (first room in dark world, the one you walk up in with wrist protector)
D+4: Go to room_field_checkers5 (room before save point, with ponman 2 skip)
D+5: Go to room_castle_tutorial (with training dummy)
D+6: Go to room_field1 (First Rudinn)
D+7: Go to room_forest_area3 (Clover room)
D+8: Go to room_forest_fightsusie (The Forest Susie Lancer fight room)
D+9: Go to room_cc_prison_cells (Prison cell, just after Susie fights Lancer)

Castle:
J+6: Go to a test battle room, useless (just a pink screen) requires closing the game to leave
J+7: Go to a test battle room, useless (just a pink screen) requires closing the game to leave
J+8: Go to room_cc_prison_prejoker (Jevil staircase, fills your inventory with spookyswords)
J+9: Go to room_cc_kingbattle (Straight into the King Fight Room)

Light world:
W+2: Go to room_town_krisyard (Outside Kris' house)
W+3: Go to room_schooldoor (just outside school closet)
W+4: Go to room_school_unusedclassroom (Goes to the room that you go to after entering the light world)
W+5: Go to room_town_school (Outside of the school)
W+6: Go to room_town_north (By Catty & Bratty)

Weird Elevator Ones:
G+0: Does a cycle of the elevator (doesn't go anywhere)
G+1: Makes the elevator move indefinitely until repressed (The exit transition and the wall collision is like the elevator isn't moving so you can leave out of the exit like normal even though it doesn't look you can)
G+2: Makes the elevator border a bright white instead of changing colours

There may be more but this is what's known right now

Not all actions will work as expected like you may only have kris in card castle if you just entered dark world and you went forward rooms until card castle. The game can also crash by doing some actions like if you try to go back to castle town after finishing it by using the previous room command.

How to set up the LiveSplit autosplitter (Windows only)

1. Open your splits, right click and go to "Edit Splits..."
2. Insert "Deltarune" or "Deltarune Category Extensions" (without the quotes, casing doesn't matter) as the game name
