Furi is another "boss rush" but not in 2D. Very demanding but also rewarding ! By the way the game has an amazing "electro" OST. (sorry for approximative english)

Gunstar Heroes is the first thing that comes to mind. The King Dice fight in particular seems to be a inspiration from Dice Palace and there's a few other things that Cuphead clearly took as inspiration from the game, among others.
