Coin Glitch/NG+

This glitch allows you to add extra coins to your single player account using multiplayer, even before you've entered the park for the first time.

Note that while the video below uses a Co-op Race, normal Races do also work. However, Grand Prixs and Arenas do not.

Confirmed to work on PSP, PS2 and Xbox, though the latter two require LAN.

Hello all. Here is the updated starter CTTR Any% (No PSW) route exclusively to console runners (PSP route is below this paragraph) that's designed to help new players learn the route for CTTR Any% (No PSW). This route has tons of optimizations like completing DH C instead of the R&G, and completes EP & Evilocity FL at the TW JP. It also completes MI Stuff at the last crystal NPC. It still doesn't do Tower Jump but I'm fine with that... and players can incorporate it if they want timesave. Gift Shop Completion - PSP Route

**Required Coins: 72,250**

Note that vehicles and outfits are not sold in the Gift Shop on PSP due to the character choice always being random.

**Requirements for this route:**

- 7 PSP Systems (ideally at least one 2K or 3K model for video output)
- 7 copies of the PSP version of the same language/region
- No Japanese copies of the game (gives weaker difficulty bonuses)

If optimising for LRT, have P1 run on a UMD with no Memory Stick inserted. This will remove the autosave prompt when returning to the lobby. Other players can run either UMD or Memory Stick.

If optimising for RTA, have all 7 players run digital copies off a Memory Stick. This will reduce the time spent on loading screens, especially for The Tragic Kingdom.

**The Route:**

1. The Tragic Kingdom x2 (7 players, 5 KOs, Rocket Launchers, Hard, Normal Speed) +5,100 Coins per round
2. Buy Rings of Uranus for 7,500 Coins
3. Rings of Uranus (7 players, 3 Laps, Co-op On, Hard, Normal Speed) +7,800 Coins
4. Buy Insane Speed for 10,000 Coins
5. Rings of Uranus x7 (7 players, 3 Laps, Co-op On, Hard, Insane Speed) +7,800 Coins per race
6. Buy all remaining items (wallet should show at least 55,100 before and 350 after)

**More detailed strats/notes:**

- While the PS2 arenas are valid options for the starting battles, they give less coins to 2nd than the PSP arenas.
- In Battle Arenas, teams are randomised, and having two humans on the same team does not pay any more than having one.
- When the battle starts, count the number of gunners. If there are four, swap all players. Find whichever player has the lone AI gunner and drive them near the others for quick kills.
- On the results screen, press X on Players 2-7 while waiting for P1's coin tally. They will return to the lobby faster.
- In Co-op Races, teams are predetermined based on player order. For example, P1 & P2 are always together, with P1 being the starting driver. Only P7 will ever be paired with an AI, and the AI will always be a gunner.
- Characters and vehicles are chosen at random, but all clashed vehicles have the same stats, so this does not matter.
- While loading Rings of Uranus, turn off the WLAN Switches for Players 3-7 on the loading screen. This will cause those players to disconnect from the match, which P1 reads as being AFK. This way, you will not need to wait for those players to finish before the results screen.
- You can also disconnect players mid-race, either with the WLAN Switch or with the pause menu. However, this is difficult to execute while controlling P1.
- Disconnecting P2 is a valid option, but not a necessary one.
- DO NOT DISCONNECT PLAYER 1!!! If P1's WLAN Switch is turned off, the entire match will be aborted, and you won't get paid.
- Beware of the lone AI gunner sitting idle at the finish line. This is the only major element of RNG during the races.
- While having an 8th player does give 600 more coins per race, mathematically it doesn't reduce the number of required races. The only way 8 players would save time is if we could do one race of Tiki Turbo faster than two Battle Arenas.
