NTSC-U PS2 SCPH-30001 technically PAL PS2 30004 is also the same speed but NTSC is easier to play (PSP with custom firmware to downgrade it is technically the fastest but VC is separated so haha) if you don't care about losing anywhere from 5-20 seconds, any PS2 model should do as long as it's not a japanese model

Pull kinda brushed on this but a fat ps2 console is better than a slim for ctr, contrary to most other ps1 games
