OPTIONAL SCENES AND CONTENT:

Much of Corpse Party comes from optional scenes and bits of dialogue that can('t) be easily missed by the player. Obviously, avoid reading cabinets, notes (exception: read the blessed shoes note to progress) Some parts may seem necessary but most aren't, so here's a list of what to avoid and how the scenes are triggered:

SPECIFIC:

• Opening (say "No" to watching the opening at the start of the game)
• Character Bios (say "No" to reading the character bios at the start of the game)
• Spooky Scary Skeleton (don't approach the skeleton in Classroom 2-4)
• Getting Trapped (go into the first door as Yoshiki and read the poster at the end of the hall)
• Science Lab (interact with blood on window when it appears)
• Classroom 2-9 (try to enter the classroom next to the Long Board as Yoshiki BEFORE visiting Classroom 1-2)

GENERAL NOTES:

• The game runs on RPG Maker XP (RPGツクールXP).
• SAVE BEFORE THE FINAL BOSS. You can still save when selecting characters, so right before picking Yuka (final party member)... SAVE!
• Movement is tile based, meaning every step will move you one tile. Demonstrated in this gif.
