I recorded this based on Toad's WR run. Explains basic mechanics and route and boss strategies. Please watch Toad's run for what the run should look like optimally.

Drop Rates, Height Rates, and Route Odds

I spent a single afternoon putting this together by hand so the sample size is not as large as if I had found a way to automate the process. The "likely %" is my best guess as to a nice round number that the game is using to determine drop/height rates.
