and i propose a tree branch percent. just beat calamity ganon with tree branches. "kleric" on youtube beat calamity ganon with tree branches. the 4 blights and ganon. and thats the challenge. use glitches as fast as you can to use tree branches to kill calamity ganon.

i am sure some of you holding these records can do it and i challenge thee.

My estimate is that this would take at least 10 hours or so, it's a pretty long category I wouldn't want to run it because most of the run would be whacking the blights and ganon with tree branches for the next 10 hours, pretty boring in my opinion.

Beat Plateau Grab the Tree Branch at the start While on the Plateau grab the Opal from the chest at Magnesis, or the ruby from the EX chest Plateau > A few shrines for hearts maybe? Kill some enemies for monster parts. Reach Kakariko (edit) Activate Ta'loh Naeg (edit) Get some Fairies (edit) Go to Kakariko Shop and sell the Opal/Ruby Buy Shock Arrows Plateau > Wasteland Tower Windbomb to Yiga Hideout Duplex Bow x5 get Dupe Tree Branch Warp to Kakariko. If not night, rest at a fire. Go to Kilton, sell your parts, and buy the Spring-Loaded Hammer. Durability Transfer (Spring-Loaded Hammer > Tree Branch) Plateau > Hyrule Castle Windbomb to top, kill Ganon

This linny kid smh. Like ligit, hundo has runners because it accomplishes something. Beating botw 100%. Doing everything. Collecting all the annoying ass koroks. All of it. But this category... what does it accomplish? Like yeah, it let's you brag to your two friends over zoom like "yeah, I killed ganon with only sticks"... like honestly. Dont diss hundo if your siding with a speedrun that spends over 8 hours duplicating durability and wacking a fire infused monster with a stick.

Aren’t tree branches less durable? I mean, it is a different type of weapon so ok.

First off, brock, dont post 3 posts and clog up the thread (literally all of them say "I'll probably run this). Second off, 3 hours to beat the blights and ganon is probably an understatement. 3rd off, mops basically the same thing, a little different.

Even if you just had to kill one blight like that its still very stupid.

Ganon is hard enough; this will have some interesting routes! I’m excited to see what’s the fasted method.

you would probably have to get the max amount of weapon slots and fill all of them except one(reserved for spring loaded hammer) with tree branches because of the durability of the tree branches

that would add probably 2 more hours collecting korok seeds

If yall are thinking about doing it with a tree branch you would only need to get a tree branch, a double axe (one of the best durability in the game) and some 2x or 3x bow + shock arrow
