Due to the post-release patch fixing some of the speedtech we found on version 1.3.0 downpatching is a possibility to still be able to do found strategies and previous routes. For those that like to read here's how to do it: (This requires you to have .NET libraries installed on your machine.)
- Go to the Resources section and download the depot downloader.
- Unpack the depot-downloader in an easily accesible folder.
- Open the folder you have unpacked depot-downloader to in your fileexplorer.
- Open a command bash in this folder. (On windows the easiest way to do that is to type "cmd.exe" into the bar on the top in the windows explorer window while having the folder open.)
- Paste the command for the version you want to downpatch to into the command bash and replace <username> and <password> with your steam credentials. If you have 2 Factor Authorization active the bash will now ask you to provide the 2FA code. Type that in and hit enter.
- Wait for the download to finish. (Yes there will be times where it seems the download is not progressing this is normal. As long as you dont get any error messages the download is still going!)
- Open depotdownloader/depots/597821. In here there will be a folder with a 7 digit name. Open it.
- Copy everything except the .DepotDownloader folder.
- Open your steamapps\common\BIOMUTANT directory. (If you didn't change it this is located under C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common).
- Paste everything you copied into this directory. If you want to keep the current version make a backup of all files that are currently in this directory before pasting the contents of the depot.
IMPORTANT: Make sure to put Steam into offline mode! Else it will automatically download the newest patch when you try to start the game. (To do that click "steam" in the top left corner and then simply click "Go offline". Steam will now restart in offline-mode).
Enjoy your downpatched version of the game!
