I timed this attempt by starting the second I hit the spacebar to start and ending it the first frame I could see the wood freezing. In Sony Vegas Pro 13, it said that time was a total of 42 frames, and with the original footage being 30 FPS, that turns into 1 second and 400 milliseconds. I opted NOT to use splits because that means I'd have to end the timer during the run, and I felt there was too big of a margin of error there.
