Hi there! I'm pretty new to all of this, almost all of my life i had played on PS2, only recently migrated to PC. Any tips on how to properly record, and maybe set up some time marking softwares? Thanks in advance! :)

Hey! Glad to see a potential new runner. I recommend using OBS (https://obsproject.com/download) for recording/streaming runs and using Livesplit (https://livesplit.org/downloads/) to time. It should be pretty straight forward on how to use them with plenty of videos showing how to set them up, but if you need any help don't be afraid to reach out on here or discord (@Wazzip).
