Notes:

• The zone ends after a set time limit after your car crashes, though each zone has a different time limit. Therefore, the goal is to crash as early as possible while still getting a medal.
• Zones you probably need to practice are 2, 5, 10, 12, 16, 17, 23, 24, 25, 28

Zone 1 (Down Hill Demolition):

• In the rightmost lane, hit the 2nd car (yellow taxi).

Zone 2 (Coastal Crush):

• On the right side, hit the elevated box on right side where the palm trees begin (50-75% success rate)
• In the oncoming lane, hit the 1st vehicle (100% success, but 1 sec slower).

Zone 3 (Out of Control Tower):

• Hit the left corner of the 1st pickup in the right lane. You did it correctly if the buses start crashing.

Zone 4 (Pacific Peril):

• In the oncoming lane, hit the front of the right bus at an leftward angle so the left bus also crashes.

Zone 5 (Rattlesnake Row):

• On the left white wall near the interesection, there are dark vertical streaks. Hit the 2nd streak at a 45 degree angle.

Zone 6 (Dip Disaster):

• Hit 1st pickup in the right lane at slight leftward angle so oncoming traffic crashes.

Zone 7 (Sandstorm Shredder):

• Go straight and hit yellow pickup.

Zone 8 (Ridge Riot):

• Hit 1st pickup in the right lane at slight leftward angle so oncoming traffic starts crashing.

Zone 9 (Freeway Fury):

• Pass 1st group of vehicles (4 vehicles), then hit pickup in middle lane at a slight leftward angle so oncoming traffic crashes.

Zone 10 (Hairpin Havoc):

• Start drifting right into the intersection and hit the side of the yellow taxi. Preferably, you are facing right slightly when you hit the taxi so your crash goes down the oncoming lane to cause oncoming traffic to crash.

Zone 11 (Late Arrival):

• Hit 2nd car in the middle lane (yellow taxi) at a slight angle so traffic in other lanes also crashes

Zone 12 (Glass Canyon):

• Take the right turn tightly, then drive just on the left of the double yellow line and hit the left corner of the median strip. Your car should fly towards the next intersection.
• If you miss hitting the median (which happens sometimes), just hit one of the pickups right before the intersection.

Zone 13 (Avalanche):

• Hit the 1st pickup in the right lane.

Zone 14 (Dam Buster):

• Hit the 1st pickup in the right lane and at a slight leftward angle so oncoming traffic crashes.

Zone 15 (Ballistic Beach):

• Hit the 1st pickup in the right lane at a slight leftward angle so oncoming traffic crashes.

Zone 16 (Long Distance Destruction):

• Boost start (don't hold down boost), then immediately hold brake while staying on the right lane. You should remain somewhat closer to the yellow line, and allow the bus behind you to crash into you. I find that wiggling slightly when you're about to stop makes it easier to crash (25-50% success rate)
• Hit the first car in the oncoming lane (100% success, but 1-2 sec slower)

Zone 17 (Sprint Smash):

• Boost start (don't hold down boost), then immediately hold brake while going with traffic on the left lane. You should have a bus crash behind you (25-50% success rate)
• Go with traffic and hit the red compact (2nd vehicle after the bus) (50% success rate, very slight time loss)
• Hit first vehicle in oncoming traffic (100% success rate, but 1 sec time loss compared to first)

Zone 18 (Criss Cross Crush):

• Go with traffic and hit the blue pickup at a slight leftward angle so oncoming traffic crashes

Zone 19 (Roadblock):

• Go with traffic and hit the red car at a slight leftward angle so oncoming traffic crashes

Zone 20 (Dangerous Curve):

• Stay in left lane, don't drift, and hit first yellow taxi
• It's possible to crash very slightly before that by smashing into the wall, using a streetlight on the right side as a reference, but it doesn't always work and only saves 0.1-0.2 sec.

Zone 21 (Surf Shocker):

• Drive until the intersection, then crash into the far corner. Don't turn too early or you'll crash on the raised median and lose.

Zone 22 (Downtown Destruction):

• After turning left, stay in the right oncoming lane and hit the 1st pickup. You want the make the timber truck crash so the same-way traffic crashes.

Zone 23 (On Ramp Onslaught):

• When the railing on the right ends, drift sharply right and crash into the wall (right in front of the timber truck)

Zone 24 (Catch Up Chaos):

• Drive on left shoulder and crash into the car at the end of this group of cars (red SUV) at a very slight rightward angle. You want to push the red car and your car as far out as possible, preferably one into the oncoming lane. Ideally, you also want traffic behind you and some oncoming traffic to crash (50% success rate)
• Crash into first oncoming vehicle (100% success rate, but 4 sec slower)

Zone 25 (Twilight Turmoil):

• Hit the red pickup in the left lane (the one after the timber truck) at a leftward angle so some oncoming traffic starts crashing. Aim for the back left headlight of the pickup (25-50% success rate)
• Stay in the oncoming lane and hit the first white vehicle in the leftmost lane (100% success rate, but 3 sec slower)

Zone 26 (Cross Traffic Crash):

• Stay in the oncoming lane, pass the first intersection of traffic, and hit the timber truck

Zone 27 (Heights Horror):

• Turn left, stay on the double white line and pass the first intersection of traffic, then hit the 1st taxi in the left lane of same-way traffic at a slight rightward angle. You want the bus in front of you to crash

Zone 28 (Double Back Damage):

• Stay in the oncoming lane/median. After passing a pair of buses on the right, swerve right and hit the back of the trailer (25% success rate)
• Stay in the oncoming lane/median. Hit the yellow SUV on the right, and try not to hit it at an angle (90% success rate, but 1 sec slower)

Zone 29 (Switch Back Shocker):

• Just crash into any vehicle at the intersection, pretty straightforward

Zone 30 (Head On Highway):

• Hit the first vehicle in the center lane
