I will be doing some any % (NO CASINO) and meth% (No casino) runs. I think the casino runs will be boring as many will just relog over and over to get lucky.

Relogging isn’t allowed. so if someone does use casino and loses there money they’ll lose there run and have to start over

maybe something like Golden Skateboard%? Gives the incentive to get a specific amount of money as fast as you can to buy the skateboard

Another Idea would be Arrest%, even tho it would be quite fast, I think I can see a bit of possibility with it

Small silly one would also be trash%, fill your trashcan as fast as you can and sell the trashbag that you get from it inside the burner, timer ends on money collect

It's a very reset heavy run and a lot of runners might not like it, but I've been doing what I call Jackpot%. The goal is to simply get into the casino and win a jackpot, or 777, as fast as possible. I don't think it needs a glitched/glitchless separation because glitchless would be incredibly boring and not fun to do or watch, but it's up to you guys.

Unless you found a glitch that makes winning consistent, that category would legit just be gambling no? The only glitch I can see being used is just npc door opening to get into the casino in the first minute then you just gamble and pray. Not really much speedrunning in that.

That's kind of the whole point. I get where you're coming from though, but I do disagree that it's not a speedrun. It's just almost entirely luck based, which I think is a fun kind of run since it's so short. Thanks for considering it!

I have been doing kind of this run on my own for fun and I would say its not entirely luck, lots of movement and cool tech to try and get into the casino as quickly as possible. I do get where you are coming from though, because 99% of my runs died because I never hit the jackpot and ran out of money. Lots of other speedruns have heavy rng element to them though, so I still think some category like this would be cool to consider.

Ah you started your timer much later than I start mine (I don't know much about speedrun rules for this game). I've been doing just win a jackpot, not 10k because it's so reset heavy that I didn't want to add an extra thing. I thought I had wr, but it seems you have that title. I'll have to retime my runs and title them accordingly. Glad to see someone else out there running Jackpot% (trademark pending)

Edit: After retiming my pb I still have you beat by 2 seconds, granted not with a 10k jackpot. Maybe that could be a category extension. Here's my PB ("world record" is just for views lmao)

Goal: Cook Meth inside the starting RV (you can not start the main story since that blows up the starting RV)

Run Starts on pressing done on character creation. Run ends when meth is in inventory.

Ive completed a run to get 100,000 in the bank asap. It took a couple hours and I had to break it up into 3 sessions. But I enjoyed it. I think adding a category for getting 100,000 in the bank ASAP would be cool.

What about jane% or brad%, a speedrun to unlock the dealers, i think it could be intersting :) i would say molly% but its too close to sell% meth

The moderators take time to check the races we submit, so they are not ready to add new categories xD

For me i recently submit a 1.57 weed sell% runs, i still wait for a verification

If you look at announcements you will see there is one where it sais there are potentially 3 new categories coming. This is why people are submitting ideas. :)

A category of giving a free sample at a PNJ can be nice
