Is the early Gate in tutorial no Oob random or do you have to trigger it?

Quite random but the lower you set your max fps the better the chances you'll have the early gate

You can guarantee Early Gate by loading the tutorial and triggering a long voice line to play (Brasch's first is good). Then exit the tutorial and start up another one. Gate should open every time.
