What's stopping you from actually dividing every IL into separate tracks like Maluch Racer 2 does? https://www.speedrun.com/maluchr2/levels These are literally the same tracks, I see no point in structuring the IL boards differently and in a much more arbitrary way here

Or if you want to do it by yourself, i can make you a mod. 

With this change I don't mind if you make my current level runs obsolete. 

If I were you, Patrik I would maybe ask Piotrunio, the MR2 mod to become a second mod here :D

I'm a new player to these games and I find the levels in them quite confusing, but I think I'm beginning to understand how it works, so I'm going to try to clear up some confusion if I can (and hopefully not add to it!). Sorry if this is a lot of text.

**As I understand it:**

- **There are 7 maps in Czech racer**
- **For each map there are 2-4 different courses (A,B,C,D)**
- **You can race any of these courses in the free play mode once they're unlocked.**

**Now, where things get confusing is how the campaign mode works. Some of these courses repeat in the campaign and the *only* difference is the car you drive and the cars your competition drives. So this is not a different course.**

**In my view it only makes sense to have levels in one of these two ways:**

1. **The levels as you play them in the campaign (where your car and lap number is forced)**
2. **The unique levels (see mr2).**

**To clarify the difference again, (1) would include "[Electricity A2](https://www.speedrun.com/Czech_Racer?h=electricity-a2-levels-1-7-1-lap&x=l_w6qvl5nd-z27jzpz2-6nj1j75n.qke44onq)", whereas (2) would not, because Electric A1 and Electric A2 are the same course, they just represent different levels in the campaign where you drive a different car.**

**At the moment, you've gone with a sort of hybrid of the two, which doesn't make sense. Why do I say you've gone with a hybrid of the two? Well, you're allowing for runners to submit runs for different lap times, which is an option in free play mode only, but at the same time the level names you've gone with correspond to the campaign.**

I should also note here that split names I used in my full run were just assuming that the courses for each map appear in a logical order in the campaign (A->B->C->D), but they don't necessarily. For instance Electric-C appears before Electric-B. I haven't checked the other maps. This would only become relevant of course if you decided to go with option (1) and wanted to properly name the courses. Though, if you did go with option (1), it would probably just be easier to name the levels "Level 1", "Level 2", etc. or "City at Night 1, City at Night 2" etc. so nobody has to do the tedious task of loading each course in free play mode and checking it against where it appears in the campaign.

But yeah, just doing unique levels would probably be the easier option.
