Hey there guys. How's it going? I have just started running easy peasy any% and have been able to steadily reduce my time (from a 59 to a 42). I am happy with my progress but after watching the WR run i know i have some room for improvement. Any tips or tricks you know of that will help me out? things i do know of: -Skipping the first cutscene by exiting and continuing. -Saving credits to buy extra warp keys -Not building any secondary weapons or indirect weapons. -Using the coffee/tea station as much as possible.

So if you have anything else to add that would be much appreciated.

Thank you very much 333Rich333! I will do just that. I know some communities have guidlines on submissions so i wanted to be on the right side of the fence when i went through with a submission.

Hi everybody! (Hi Dr. Nick!), My name is Zaphod, and im new to speedrunning. Its been just under year since i have started and i have enjoyed learning everything i can. I have watched 2 GDQ's and have learn to respect all forms of running. From the runners, TAS'ers and glitch hunters, everybody is awesome.

Now i have specifically choosen SMW to start my adventures in speedrunning. It was a game I grew up with and had already kinda run in the past. Figuring out the path to star road as a kid was a good feeling.

So long story short. Is there any requirements for submitting w/ video proof. I have a taped run with the time of 12:35.3 on a super nes mini shot on a handheld camera. Its uploaded to youtube (well as i type this it is uploading). I used frame perfect timer, it is found on the android app store. I set the timer to -2.2 according with the rules. Time stops at peach falling out of the bowser craft. Is it acceptable with what i have done. I dont own a computer or have immediate access to one. I understand it is not WR time (that should require undeniable proof) so it ok to submit the run?
