I recently started learning Any%, and I noticed that either the speedrun mod or Everest caused freezing for a split second in between transitions. This obviously can mess up movement so it's really irritating. I fully reinstalled the game, and the hitching was gone, but reappeared once I installed Everest again. Is there any way I can fix this?

I'm on Epic Games, running on a 2070S and an 8700k.
