i'll explain how i did it. i used a speedhack from cheat engine to slow the game down by 90% (0.1x) i pitched down every sound in the game by 90% so that later in postediting, when i speed the footage back up to 100% (speed up by 10x) the sound will sound normal again. the BG music is a MO3 file, and theres no way for me to learn OpenMPT again. So instead i converted it to WAV, removed the MO3 file and added the WAV in postproduction.

if more pro's would start doing TASes like this, there will be a lot of great results.

the video explains almost everything. it's easier to cheat in runs like this than you think.

imo, rules regarding emulator runs need to be more strict, since timescale runs / cheated runs in goldeneye are shockingly undetectable.

i'm not a good runner, but if someone more skilled would use that technique, it would be a shame...
