Even if you don't start in a high rank on the leaderboard, always know that any attempt you do is still progress and will help you get better as time goes on Being a good speedrunner, or being good at anything takes dedication and confidence! Don't feed your mind bad ideas, try to think more positive and I know you'll do great! :)

It's best to do a run of this before suggesting so everyone can have a clearer image on what your purposing bc Cap% can be any of these:

• Get Wing Cap as fast as possible
• Get Metal Cap as fast as possible
• Get Invisible Cap as fast as possible
• Lose Mario's Cap in either SSL, SL, or TTM

I know its the last choice but, do a run of it so everyone can see how it'll work ^^

Hello, I've recently gotten a new n64 with sm64 and I've been practicing runs with it recently. So if anyone can help, can anyone recommend anything I can use aside from my phone camera (bc the quality is really bad) I would highly appreciate it. ^-^

So for a while I've thought of a new category for this game but idk how everyone would feel about it for recommending it, but the category is-

Deathless: Which is completing the game as fast as you can without dying, I thought this would add an extra layer of challenge since I saw a few runs with people dying sometimes.

Hola everyone, my name is blu and even though I made an account here a few months ago i didn't look at the forums lol, but i'll make my introduction now! I'm currently new in speedrunning and I hope to improve in the games that I decided to speedrun which being Crash Bandicoot 2, 3, Sonic 2, Sonic 3 A.I.R, and Super Mario 64!! (on emulators or pc bc I don't have the consoles for them) Also if I do get a capture card anytime soon, I plan to speedrun Crash 4 ( It's About Time), Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Colors, Super Mario Odyessy, and Splatoon 1 and 2! I'm looking foward to do my first runs soon and improve upon them, ty for taking the time to read this if you see it :>

the emulator is banned yes, mainly bc the emulator isn't as accurate and swtich emulation can lead into legal issues from nintendo themselves which is what you wanna avoid.
