You can skip most of the cutscenes by pressing A (or X on playstation). This means that playing the 360 version on xbox series x may be the fastest possible method of speedrunning the game. You cannot skip cutscenes in the original non remastered PC or Wii U versions.
Does anyone know the proper configuration for PCSX2 to use so mission 26 doesn't crash? I've tried different BIOS but it never seems to work.
Are Singleplay runs allowed? Do they go under a different category?
"Quicksaving" is actually very slow in this version, load times are longer, and you can't change the FPS for some of the tricks like in the PC version. I'm more surprised the mod RealRTCW has no speedruns.
This actually shows art for Vanguard rather than underground like currently. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FEiCaYEVkAcYa43?format=jpg&name=medium
Unlike MOH Allied Assault, The autosaves at level start in PA begin you directly at the beginning of a mission, in fact they will play the cutscene too when loaded! I believe this is good cause for a new category that skips over the tarawa prologue & boot camp and loads the auto save straight into Pearl Harbor chapter so runners + viewers can enjoy better pacing. Call it "Pearl Start Any%"
Instead of using an image of Manon batiste from Underground, use the "The Fight Continues" loading screen picture.
Instead of the MOH Underground picture, use the loading screen painting for Mission 2 Stage 3:
Allied Assault released January 2002. Spearhead Came out November 2002. Right now AA is listed as a 2003 game, after May 2002s Frontline and Spearhead is listed as a 2004 game.
I am able to get through every other part of the game fine enough, but the X-Wing level is just so hard and fast paced, how do you keep a good streak through this part?
Title. Is it due to being a more desirable record or is it truly faster due to something in game?
