It honestly isn't that important, specially if you think about dpi. Most regular non gaming mice offer 800dpi which should be enough for the vast majority of players. An argument could be made about input delay tho, this can actually affect how you play but as long as you aren't using an older wireless mouse you should be fine in that regard too.

I don't think there's much reason for it since you can simply filter runs by platform. Also, it's true that pc may have the edge in terms of potential but it's smaller than you might think, people have gotten quite competitive times in mobile platforms so I think it just makes sense to have them share the leaderboard.

Well, this game doesn't really have any tricks that need to be taught individually, everyone that runs this game simply spends a lot of time playing it. You need to understand the movement and train your brain on how to react to every situation. That being said, you can probably learn useful things by being in touch with the community and watching others play. Ah, don't forget to use trackpad tuning, it gets rid of mouse acceleration.

Alright, as you may know, getting caught cheating used to result in a two month ban period the first time, and a permaban after getting caught a second time.

This is no longer the case. As it turns out, the influx of suspicious (or straight up fake) runs is way larger than we expected. Because of this, doing a research of every runner in detail or simply communicating with them is too much of a hassle for us to deal with.

So in regard to this, if you get caught (or if you are suspicious enough, despite not having definitive proof), you'll get banned indefinitely. It's likely that if a runner gets banned for a run that was legit he will try to demonstrate it, so it's up to them to facilitate any proof necessary. If these are satisfactory, the runner will be unbanned with no further discussion. Likewise, if the run was indeed fake, most people would probably just leave as it is (they wouldn't be able to prove their legitimacy anyways), and they would stay banned.

We hope you understand the reasoning behind this decision.

nah it's not, we have or not have in-game time and choose which one defaults, but we can't remove real time
