Also keep in mind that to submit a game you have to submit a run with the game. Just another thing to keep in mind
You should also (if possible) look into the ability to have multiple save files so that people can have 1 file for practicing and another for actual runs. That way people can practice levels on the practice save rather then having to go through and beat the entire game just so they can practice levels. I hope that makes sense and all the best. (I hadnt realised at the time of writing this someone had already offered the idea)
@Tohru, thats why you make the speedrun timer/splits toggleable in the menu with the default being off just like in a hat in time. You can go into a menu and just tick the box that brings up a timer
I havent played the game but if it doesnt already I would recommend putting in a toggleable timer (just like in hat int time if youve ever played that) and if you really want to go the extra mile putting in splits. This would make the game a lot more open to new players because they wont have to go through the trouble of setting up their timer and splits.
Hey im relatively new to the speedrunning community and when I went to this website (http://wiki.pokemonspeedruns.com/index.php/Pok%C3%A9mon_Red_Starter_Kit) it said that I should turn on visible sprites in rock tunnel but I havent find any rules or guides adressing this. I would just like to know wether or not this is legal
Im new to the speedrunning community and decided to do glitchless any%. Does anyone a good setup or even just a tutorial on the whole run
I just started speedrunning and I downloaded Gambette and the red rom but when I try to run it it comes up saying: Could not load GBC bios. Gambatte-Speedrun requires a GBC bios to function. Pleas use settings > Select GC Bios image to specify the location of such a file.
PLEASE HELP!!!!
