I was thinking we could have combined Category for Tower/Story/Aftermath all in 1. I'd Def run it if we made it a Category and you will have to be good with a much bigger variety of characters overall.
In the Settings before doing runs I suggest turning off the Music FX as it will most likely be Copyrighted music on YouTube. (I got a Copyright Claim but no Strike but still not worth it so just Mute the Music FX). You can still have the Sound FX On.
Also there are a lot of themes (the Backround Pics) If any of them end up being visual Copyrights I will make a list of them below.
Who are the worst characters to fight in Klassic Tower (Very Easy, Medium and Very Hard) for everyone?
For Very Easy no ones to bad for me. Even Kronika is easy.
For Medium (I use Sindel jump in strat) anti air characters are annoying. Noob Saibot always anti airs. Erron Black and Robo-Cop as well. Spawn sometimes because he will anti air into the slowest combo ever. And Sindel will anti air you with scream and get a crushing blow.
Very Hard. Similar to Medium but Kronika is hell on this difficulty. Anyone with long combos suck because they will block you at some point and hit you.
Just playing casually first playthrough still and discovered this glitch with the Flings. Not sure if its been discovered yet and not sure if it works in other areas in the game.
I think the Level Leaderboards should be changed to be timed from Illusion mode. Banish and Redeem Subcategories have basically no difference to begin with and Illusion mode has the added bonus of having a built in timer. Also we should add Level Leaderboards for both Adams and the DLC Boss: Cowardly Modic.

In Season 3 they added a FighterZ Dojo area with a lot of extra offline things to do. They have added a Tournament of Power mode where you go through all your opponents until you are the last one standing. There are 8 tournaments (Around 3 matches each) you would have to complete in order to complete the run. Run would begin after selecting Starting Beginner Tournament Novice Knockout and end on the last hit of the final Tournament.
As well as the Tournament of Power they Have added Multiple Challenge List Missions that work Similarly to Combo Challenge speedruns. They will be split separately in the Level Leaderboards as well as a 100% Challenge List Speedrun in a Full Game Leaderboard/Sub Category where you have to complete every challenge in one run. Run would start the same as Combo Challenge Runs. Right after the Loading screen disappears on the black screen and ends upon completing the last objective.
The loading times are way too long on PS4 compared to PC so even if you have the same speed beating every enemy you will still have a speedrun that is behind by at least 1 minute on console from the loading screens. I suggest we use the igt from each fight to determine the actual time of the fight. And then add up each matches igt at the end of the run.
Example: Zekros Arcade Run is 7:55 Real Time and 3:32 seconds In Game Time. And my run is 9:46 Real Time and 3:30 seconds In Game Time. So my run is technically faster but there are almost 2 minutes extra loading times because I am on console.
Timing for igt would be super easy to as you would just subtract whatever your end time from each round is from the start time (99 seconds). So example after round 1 the fight ends at 82 seconds so you would subtract 99-82=17 and that would be the time for that round and you would do that for each round and then add up your total time after completing the Arcade Mode.

Might take a couple of Days for me to add all the Categories so here is the starting ideas for each Category and the rules. (They might change slightly)
So since this game is mainly Online we have to be creative with the Speedruns with this game. Luckily there is an Private Match Option where you can play Solo as the Predator or the Soldiers and fight against the AI.
Private Match "Predator" - The Predator cant actually "Win" in this mode so the Speedruns for him will involve Killing AI as fast as possible. Killing 5, 10 and 20 AI as fast as possible. For this Category we will use Real Time (igt isnt viable) and the timer for the run will end right as you get ur 5th, 10th, or 20th kill and the xp for the kill pops up. After the Kill you need to show proof of the last kill by showing the menu with your total AI kills.
Private Match "Soldier" - As the Soldier their will be no Predator to face off so the Speedrun will just be doing all the Main Objectives and getting back on the Chopper as fast as possible. This will also use in real time to time the runs. Timer ends after inputting button to enter the chopper.
Their are 3 different maps to choose from so both Predator and Soldier Runs will be split into 3 categories (1 for each Map) and their will be an option for Coop runs for the Soldiers team (up to 4 players).
One other Speedrun category will be the Predator Tutorial. Its basically little obstacle course to hop around and master the movement of the Predator.
I will be looking into other Possible Categories but as of now this is all that can really be done with this game. Hopefully they add more Offline functionality to this game in the future.
Just a couple questions. Can you use the regular pistol on Final Nemmy instead of the Burst Pistol? (I forgot to pick it up in my run and just did knife only just incase) Also can you shoot ur gun at all to lower DA? (I assume not just want to make sure) And lastly, No Inferno? Is this just because its too hard? or because Nightmare and Inferno are too similar, or something else?
So after failing a run to a failed Ladder grab in the Fuse area and dying to a Hunter Gamma I thought it would be fun for everyone to share their Speedrun Fails in RE3 Remake so far.

Just wondering why we have a category for PS4, Xbox One, and PC if we are using In Game Time on the Leaderboards? Wasnt the point of having 3 different categories was because we were using Real Time before? Not really complaining just wondering why and if it will be changed back to 1 leaderboard or stay as 3 separate categories.
If it stays as 3 categories i will def try to run Xbox One (and maybe PC categories) in the future.
If you have any ideas for new categories (or ways to tweak current categories to improve them) post them here.
*If you wish to get new Categories added it is best to also record a video of you doing a run of your category idea.
To show off the fastest strategys for speedrunning I recommend adding a Very Easy Category as well so the speedrun isnt as reliant on AI RNG. Based on experience in MKX it adds to the quality of the speedrun and new strats are discovered and more optimized if there is less BS AI RNG involved.
