I have tried to use it multiple times and it doesn't work even if i watch videos on how to use it. Can someone please help me?

When i was practicing speed running castle i notice there are a lot of objects to jump on in the game so that me got thinking could we glide or fly to the end with the objects? (Because in dark and steam you use the axe or stick) I don't think that it would save time for the better players because well, castle can be beaten under or around 30 seconds. So maybe beginners could use this but i don't completely know if it works yet.
