Kentucky, USAYou can use an emulator but if you submit a run it will be hidden by default.
Im pretty sure you only have to show the hard reset at the beginning of every run if im not mistaken. My current PB doesnt show the border but it shows my hard reset at the beginning.
I've only been running a little over a month but I started using Lembox's guide and it is pretty useful.
So i might be an idiot, but i cant find the main Mt. Moon manip for Pokemon Yellow so does anyone know where to find a video with the a presses/ start buffers etc. ?
Well i just wanna use an emulator to practice all the tech and stuff like that, if i actually get pretty good at the run i will def buy a n64, its just easier to use emulator so i can make save states for the hard parts of the run. Thanks guys
So im thinking about speedrunning Banjo Kazooie cause running pokemon is getting kinda bleh lol but i dont have an n64, is there a specific emulator that i can use or are emulators not allowed at all? Thanks in advance
Hopefully this is the last thread i make haha but holy hell i cant get the yoloball down consistently. over my past 3 streams (not self promoting js lol) im pretty sure at least 20+ runs didnt even get started because yoloball failed. So here is a video of me doing yoloball twice, one of them fails and the other one doesnt so any help would be appreciated.

I know about the A press at the end of the manip but i never heard of doing it before the moonstone. thats interesting

No im using an emu, the gambatte specfically. I never actually heard of using a wrong ROM lol I guess i could record a video and show the inputs im doing. :)
So so far my runs are pretty consistent with the obvious RNG problems and what not but thats not bothering me, most of my runs fail before they even start because i cant get the moon manip consistently. I saw a bunch of vids on youtube that show inputs, specifically mumpfel's vid and i do exactly what he does but i always seem to fail it. Im not sure if anyone else here has this problem or not but its really annoying me lol
