There's another floor clip in Jo Ad 2 during the bike section. I remember Cyberdemon531 getting killing her run a while ago with it because you fall to your death. I don't think there is a video unfortunately. From what I'm seeing, it has to do with the up-incline of the floor.
I suppose it is worth noting that since this game is using Toy Story 2's engine, I should also make mention of a floor clip in Construction Yard near the pushable cinderblock near the wheelbarrow. If you double jump low enough near the ground, you will go through it. Unfortunately, Buzz in this game doesn't have a double jump which would probably mean you'd need to use the jetpack to emulate it. This could definitely lead to something. Nice find!
My internet is slow so I can't post a video right now, but in Trade World 2, if at the very start you go left and in between the pipes you will end the level in 2 seconds.
I haven't done a run so I have no power in this matter. However, when I considered doing runs, the emu ban was kinda disheartening. I know that it's not really a big deal. You can do runs on emulator by yourself and not have to upload them to the leaderboard, but it gives some kind of incentive and motivation to keep going. If the mods think this is a non-issue I guess a Google Sheets can be created.
Ok so it seems like a combination of dgvoodoo and dxwnd seems to do the trick. I still have to work out the crashing when deselecting the window but other than that I'm golden.
Ok so turns out I had the wrong assumption, the game works because it is running through a debugger. NOP'ing the instruction doesn't do anything. This is very bizarre and I'm not sure why it works.
I got it to work but it's not 100% working. I can play the game but it crashes when I try to click out of the window. Currently debugging the problem but I don't know how deep this issue goes.
As already addressed on this forum, the PC version is actually just the PS1 version poorly emulated. You're better off just using ePSXe and submitting your time as emu. Save your rmoney.
What kinda glitches are we talkin bout?
Very interesting. Could you send me the game through Discord? I have datamined this game and understand the code enough to document the differences. Stuff like this fascinates me.
When you type "Toy Story 2" in Livesplit it should say "There is an autosplitter available" and it will give you an option to activate it. If it doesn't you can add it manually.
Unfortunately the N64 emu autosplitter has stopped working for some reason. However the PC version still works well. Hope this helped.
Me and another dude a while back tried it on emulator. Every so often the camera would fly off the map. Then all controls would cease working. I suspect it is some strange DRM. But even if we could fix it, the accuracy is still pretty bad. The game is pretty cheap though. I got mine for 5 dollars.
Because of how Windows works, you need to run LIvesplit as an admin if you want it to work with a game that you also ran as an admin. It has to do with permissions or something.
Also make sure to run D3Dwindower as an admin. It doesn't work if you don't. Also in the future, make sure you mount Barbie to the same drive letter each time so that D3D knows where to look.
The executable is located on the ISO itself. In the folder named "Explorer". Select Barbiex.exe with D3Dwindower and it should work.
Thanks for your question. I'm curious to see how this game runs on PS3 and PSN. You can do runs with those consoles but keep in mind that if major differences pop up we might have to separate the platforms. But for right now, since we don't know anything about them you can submit them like normal. Have fun!
I have the wii version. How does it differ from pc and the other consoles?
Are you sure that all the physics are the same? For example how fast you walk and if the model swap causes different things to be possible?
