It's my opinion that a speedrun community should first strive to be inclusive and then make it as fair as possible for everyone involved. So from my standpoint the most elegant solution I can think of, until there is some way to either convert the times or configure the fix to not speedup AMD processors, would be the following:

• Split the PC leaderboard into AMD and Intel boards, as this is the criteria that blocks direct comparison due to the speed difference with fix used
• Add a variable for Fix Used Y/N so that those who really want to can filter out runs that have or haven't been done on FPS Fix

That way the two boards are within themselves comparable and everyone gets a shake at it.

In regards to Fatkid's post, I have to agree with Neviutz here. Just because other boards in the series do it doesn't mean it's a good idea nor should it be made a justification to do it everywhere.

Personally, I find that if the absence of a leaderboard for the aforementioned reasons keeping you from working on the run to be a false motivation to do the run. If anything, if you truly cared about it, you'd work your hardest to optimize and make the NG+ category worth its merit on the leaderboard. NG+ is defacto easier than a New Game run, that much is obvious without much thought. Therefore, the qualities that are expected come from the routing alone. Keeping animation time in mind, finding alternate routes though the less alert generation etc.

I'm a bit baffled why Final Fantasy XIII-2 was cut so early this time around, in the last 4 years everytime I submitted it it made it at least to the 2nd round of cuts but it was never actually done at ESA again. So I'm a bit surprised why it's suddenly gone so early.

Edit (in response to @flicky ): Unfortunate. I really think 13-2 deserves another presence given how much as changed and just how much more optimized the run became, but I guess there's always another year.

Emulators are banned

Infinite MP Glitch was patched out of the game a while ago.

I've heard that FFXV will receive an 8 GB big Day One patch to improve performance and other various things. Other than that you can't really make a rule based off of other games. Nothing indicates whether or not the game will be patched once or onehundred times. All that's left for us is to play the game as is and react to whatever Square does with it.

Sorry for the late response, had been busy outside of gaming for quite a while.

I'm perfectly fine with the change for DDS' cover image being set to the new declared standard. DDS, being more of a spin-off saga than a main SMT title, actually only has one difficulty and one ending, therefore I chose Any% as the default category since it fits the criteria for it. DDS2, since it has 2 difficulties, will of course be treated differently once I get to routing it.

NG+ is not yet a category and shouldn't be in my opinion as it'd be quite bland and just a matter of who gets less random encounters.
