Whenever I start a game, whether my friend or me hosts it, I get an error about 95% of the time. I am on NA-West servers, (although I should be in Central if that exists) and my friends are on NA-East usually. The error that I get says exactly:

CONNECTION ERROR a connection error has occured and the connection was closed unexpectedly. check your internet connection and configuration.

REASON: ribbon lost if you are certain this error is not on your side, please report it.

We figured that the new tetr.io update that has in the patch notes "Majorly upgraded server infrastructure" would fix this issue, but it did not help the problem even a little bit.
