Digital is currently faster due to quicker load times.
This is straight from within the submission rules:
"All runs require video proof (with audio)."
Gotcha, that makes sense. Thanks.
Uhhhh correction: within those 6 minutes, the video very briefly comes back a few times. It's extremely short parts, though.
Unfortunately, that's the problem. The game can't really be seen for those 6 minutes. It's clear that there's movement but it's basically just a sound recording for 6 minutes.
That's what I'm thinking. I was just curious to see if it's worth submitting so I don't waste the mods' time. Lol
I got a 1:11:41 any% PB that I want to submit, but for about 6 minutes straight, my bitrate just completely crapped out and the video is basically unwatchable. The audio is completely fine, and it's clear that there's something happening with the run visually, but it's just impossible to tell what's happening. Is it still potentially viable to submit?
I just started off with any%, it's super fun and there's a lot of things to work on. I suggest starting with any% then moving on to other categories.
Also be sure that audio can be heard.
You can download Streamlabs on a mobile device and stream it there. Or you can literally just record it with your camera app. As long as the game is clearly visible you're good. You'd have to somehow integrate your splits into the video, though.
