Beach is actually done 4 times. We used to do Bridge twice, but this route (1-2-3-3-3-3-4-5-6-7-8) is riskier yet faster.
Well, you can’t control how long it takes for a run to be approved. I have around 160 runs submitted and the latest I’ve had one approved was about 3-4 days later. The mods work pretty quick.
I've heard a few times that the Wii U provides faster load times relative to the Wii, which may be useful for multi-stage/sports runs. How much is the difference in load times and would it be worth it to buy a Wii U just for that purpose?
NDS means “no driver skip” and DS means “driver skip”. There was a new glitch discovered a few weeks ago where you can hit the ball twice if you disconnect your remote during the shot. As such, the runs were divided into two categories.
I’ve never used a capture card either (although I run Wii Sports Resort). So long as the screen is clearly visible you’re fine.
Personally, I’m beginning to think this rule is becoming unnecessary. I’ve ran ILs many times as we all know, so it’s not like IL records from multi-stage runs are somehow tainted. I propose changing the timing to starting on “next stage”, and the loading time is exactly the same as clicking on the level from the menu. 10 and 20 stage runs are hard too! And IL runs on them should be perfectly valid.
Not a mod but I agree with this sentiment, I don’t think there’s any load time issues there. Although there is the initial menuing because you have to point in the box, yet it’s quite easy.
