Mod note: In the future, please show menu screen and character creation on both characters. Great job vikings.
Thanks :) I think it could go to 15.490ish with a good boss spawner turned toward you and of course even lower with a good wind seed. I tried Fader popping and then jump cancelling the animation but not sure if that's faster.
To be honest I can't fully remember exactly how to get the PC games working myself, but if you join our discord everyone there is very knowledgeable and will be able to help. As far as 64 on emulator we have separated the categories so if there is a difference it will not affect the console records meaning it's fair game no matter what version you want to play. In my experience the game feels much laggier on emulator although it's a pretty laggy game at times already. Must use Project64 V3.0 for emulator runs. There is also a category if you change a couple settings in the emulator to make the games 60 FPS. If you want to check the settings out visit the 60FPS ruleset page.
Would it be possible to get another category where you have to win the minigame? If not no big deal at all :)
Could make the console section on level leaderboard just a variable but either way it looks nice and I’m excited to try to speedrun diablo 4 :)
If you could message me in the discord what emulator and rom you are using, and if it's functionable I could probably add it as a separate category. I was unaware this game was playable on an emulator. It does seem to be running at an odd pace.
Maybe I'm not fully understanding, but I just want to be able to run an IL for N64, and not have it compared to PC at all. Most accessible is very arguable, I've been looking for the PC version forever and there is no clear cut way to even download it (not on steam etc..). It looks like a convoluted multi-step process VS. just popping a good ol' N64 cartridge in. Yes N64 IL's would be longer most likely, but that's okay because it is not comparable to PC in IL format. PC's can use ANY controller bind-able, whereas N64 has two useable controllers, making it a much more even playing field.
Thank you for the quick response.
I appreciate the knowledge. Maybe I'm a bit of a Nintendo 64 fanboy when I say this but learning to cope with the lag and terrible joystick and still hit all the tricks is just sick to see, even if it's slower. I wouldn't say it takes more or less skill than using other controllers, they are just different and it's just player preference on what they enjoy the most. Thank you for sharing that document, that is extremely cool. Also, I've watched your runs before and you are absolutely cracked best of luck to you in the future, keep killing it.
Hello, I was wondering if there was any way to get N64 IL's separated from PC. Also maybe even separating emu from actual console. If not no worries at all, but yeah, I'd submit runs and I know a couple other people I speedrun with would actually be more interested if this change was made. Something special about grinding on the actual console, forcing N64 controllers to be used. Easily makes the IL's more impressive (again in my opinion) to actually use the real controller, not some ps5 or elite controller on an emulator. Also, I do understand you can submit the times now, but for a 2nd or 3rd place time for most of the records, due to them being unobtainable on a N64 because PC just runs faster. This is okay other than the fact I would like to spend hundreds of hours on a single task on a level, to only be rewarded with a 3rd place time or something just seems odd. Thanks for your time, again, not a big deal at all either way.
Hey this is really not a big deal just kinda something I noticed, would there be any way for Pokemon Stadium 2 to get its own category extensions to separate the boards so it's not so much clutter? We have some really sick runs out there hidden away by the board, showing a blank category at first glance. Again, not that big of a deal if not its all gucci.
