Hi, Given that multiple people complained on reddit how there is 0 Guides for the speedrun or a discord... Here is some stuff off the top of my head, feel free to ask questions here or on my discord DMs:

Firstly and MOST IMPORTANTLY: Dash canceling (name not "official) Its used pretty much everywhere When you do a dash off a ledge, and then try to jump, you will notice that you can only use your second jump which sucks. However, if you jump WHILE dashing (aka, jumping OUT of the dash), you can get that jump PLUS your double jump; so basicly if you jump a frame before your dash ends you get maximum distance and height.

Ice Dashing (name semi official): Used in Prologue, important for the first 4-1 oob and some random places like 2-2 Its not hard, all you need to do is dash off of an icy ledge, try it a couple of times and the timing is realy forgiving as its like a 7 frame window i think. I usualy just hit dash when my front half is off the platform already (you can see it well in my runs as i have a frame perfect input display)

Dive Canceling / Slowfalling / Air Stalling (no offical name but we all know whats ment): Used in theory nowhere but its so usefull incase you fuck up or do gain more distance out of a fall Its realy realy easy, just press down, attack and jump at the same time (feel free to spam those 2 buttons while holding down), you will start diving, which has a short time with 0 velocity for the dramatic effect. Your jump will cancel the dive afterwards, putting you into a falling state but with 0 velocity so you have to accelerate to max speed again essentially slowing your fall drasticly (dive speed is... well if youve played it its basicly A LOT (top of 3-3 tower to bottom takes 1.7s and that shit takes 20s to climb), Meanwhile dive cancelling makes you fall at around 5 pixels a second if you spam it hard.) You can probably guess how you gain distance with that (holding a direction and not spamming but doing it rythmicly)

PS: Since the game only has 2 Buttons we never thought someone wouldnt come up with the tech stuff as we all kinda discovered it casualy on our own...
