Hi there, i was training in smb3 and learning speedrun strats,then i thought to myself : Is there a way to get P-speed faster in 3-9? And that's what i came up with. Let me know what you guys think of that. (I'm sorry if it was already suggested somewhere i'm new to Smb3 speedrun community) thank you in advance.

This would probably be a little slower overall because you're in the air longer and you don't build P-speed unless you're on the ground. However, if that strat is consisent, it's not a bad alternate at all in my opinion. I don't think you'd see the upper tier runners use this strat, but for a lot of other runners, this looks to be a decent backup strat.
