Fast Zeus 2 kill (All categories)

Air grabbing Zeus 2 when his health is at certain level is enough to defeat him, skipping some phases of the fight. (The exact logic behind this is unknown.) This is done in the second phase of the fight, when his health is just below the threshold at which he goes to the air and creates clones.

This video shows the specific strategy in each category to damage Zeus just enough so he doesn't create clones. These are not the only possible ways to do it, but they are the most consistent strategies found and have been used in many speedruns with success. Note that in the first phase of the fight, you can damage Zeus in any way possible, it's only in the second phase that the strategy matters.

To air grab Zeus, you usually want to use Claws air triangle attack. Double jump, press triangle, and then circle. The advantage of this attack is that it is very low-damage, so if the grab fails you can try again a few times before Zeus' health passes the threshold. When more damage is required (VH NUR), use Blades triangle on the ground; triangle, single jump, grab.

There are specific moments where you should try to launch Zeus to the air. These are usually after Zeus performs an attack. If you try to launch him randomly, you will most likely fail, and you risk overdamaging him which causes him to create clones and fails the strategy. I suggest to practice this a lot to get confortable with the mechanics.

There is RNG involved with the air grab. It seems that about 30 to 50% of the time, Zeus will escape the air grab. There is nothing you can do to counter this. We have tried many possible variations (launching him against a wall, grabing him slower/faster, jumping forward instead of up), and nothing seems more consistent. So this is just something speedrunners have to accept. The good thing is that the Claws attack has low damage, so it allows for many tries if the RNG is bad.

- For the strategies that use Whip magic, make sure to hit all the magic attacks on the real Zeus, not on the clone. Also, the strategy seems to have better results if you use the magic very close to Zeus.
- VH Glitchless (lvl 5 Whip): If you use the 5 magics too fast, they will not do full damage. Have a small pause in the middle so this doesn't happen.
- VH NUR: For the first three air grabs attempts, use the Blades air grab. After the third attempt, Zeus is already very damaged, so switch to Claws air grab until he is defeated.

Pegar o Zeus 2 no ar quando ele possui uma quantidade precisa de vida é suficiente para derrotar ele, pulando as fases finais da luta. (A lógica exata por trás disso é desconhecida.) Isso é feito na segunda fase da luta, quando a vida dele está quase no limiar em que ele sobe para o ar e começa a criar clones.

Este vídeo mostra a estratégia específica de cada modo para dar o dano exato para o Zeus não criar clones. Essas não são o único jeito possível de derrotar o Zeus antes, mas elas são as estratégias mais consistentes conhecidas e vêm sido usadas em speedruns com sucesso. Na primeira fase do Zeus, você pode atacar o Zeus de qualquer jeito possível, só é na segunda fase que a estratégia exata é importante.

Para pegar o Zeus no ar, o mais comum é usar o triângulo no ar das Garras. Dê um pulo duplo, aperte triângulo, então bola. A vantagem desse ataque é que ele possui um dano muito baixo, então se o agarrão falhar você pode tentar de novo sem que o Zeus crie clones. Quando mais dano é necessário (VH NUR), use o triângulo das Blades para levantar o Zeus; triângulo, um pulo, agarrar.

Existem momentos específicos para levantar o Zeus, normalmente depois de ele fazer um ataque. Se você tentar levantar ele aleatoriamente, provavelmente vai dar errado, e o Zeus pode sofrer dano demais e começar a criar clones. Sugiro praticar muito a estratégia para ficar confortável com as mecânicas da luta.

Existe RNG no agarrão no ar. Parece que em 30 a 50% das vezes o Zeus vai desviar. Não há nada para fazer contra isso. Nós já tentamos várias possíveis variações (levantar o Zeus perto da parede, agarrar ele mais devagar/rápido, pular para frente), e nada aumenta a chance de dar certo. Então isso é algo que os runners devem aceitar. O bom é que o ataque das Garras tem um dano bem baixo, o que permite várias tentativas se o RNG não colaborar.

- Nas estratégias que usam chicote, é essencial acertar todas as magias no Zeus verdadeiro, não no clone. Além disso, parece que a chance de dar certo é maior se usar a magia perto do Zeus.
- VH Glitchless (Chicote 5): As magias não dão dano completa se usadas muito rapidamente. Dê uma pequena pausa no meio.
- VH NUR: Nos três primeiros agarrões, use as Blades. Depois da terceira tentativa, o Zeus já sofreu bastante dano, então troque para as Garras.

Gaia 1 Skip

Gaia Hearth Scene Skip

(com o punho nemeiano já selecionado)
